Case Consultations

My areas of specialty include LGBTQIA+/Queer communities, kink, mental health, non-traditional relationship structures, disability justice, and chronic illness. I am available for case consultations in addition to writing projects, sensitivity readings, public speaking engagements, and expert contributions for books, articles, and other media.

I offer case consultations to mental health professionals seeking expert guidance in their clinical work with:

  • LGBTQIA+ identified individuals
  • Transgender clients undergoing any stage of gender transition
  • Individuals who practice, are interested in practicing, or may benefit from learning about non-traditional relationship dynamics, such as polyamory and other kinds of non-monogamy
  • Clients who are chronically ill, deal with chronic pain, and/or have experienced medical trauma
  • Clients struggling with internalized ableism, homophobia, or transphobia.

Case consultations are $210 for a 60 minute session. A reduced fee may be available based on the purpose of the consultation and financial need. Sensitivity Reading

As a sensitivity reader, I offer critical insights to ensure your content accurately and respectfully represents marginalized communities. My role involves meticulously reviewing your manuscript, identifying potential issues related to gender, sexuality, disability, and more. I provide feedback on areas that might perpetuate stereotypes or unintentionally offend. My goal is to help you create inclusive, authentic, and respectful narratives that resonate with a diverse audience.

I specialize in the representation of queer, transgender, disabled, chronically ill, and autistic characters.

My work as a sensitivity reader is informed by:

  • My academic background in gender studies, sociology, and psychology
  • My professional experience as a licensed therapist
  • My personal lived experience as a queer, non-binary, sex-positive, and disabled person.

I am available for workshops and presentations on a range of topics, including:

  • Stress management and burnout
  • Non-Monogamy
