Build a life that works with your brain.
You may know what you need to do and still struggle to get started. You might lose track of time, get overwhelmed by everyday tasks, or spend so much energy keeping up that there’s little left for yourself.
ADHD coaching offers space to understand those patterns, identify what gets in your way, and find approaches that fit your actual needs and capacity.
I’m Amariah Love, a licensed professional counselor and ADHD coach with ADHD myself. My approach is neurodiversity-affirming, disability-affirming, and grounded in the understanding that your worth is not measured by your productivity.
Support that starts with understanding
There’s no shortage of ADHD advice. The challenge is finding what helps you—especially when chronic illness, disability, stress, or years of masking complicate the picture.
Together, we can explore how your ADHD shows up in daily life, how you’ve learned to respond to it, and what kinds of support could make things more manageable. We’ll consider practical strategies alongside the shame, unrealistic expectations, and internalized ableism that can make it harder to recognize and meet your needs.
Coaching can help you:
- Understand your ADHD and recognize your individual patterns.
- Navigate task initiation, overwhelm, planning, and follow-through.
- Experiment with routines and tools that accommodate fluctuating energy and attention.
- Identify accommodations and practice asking for support.
- Recognize masking, overextension, and unsustainable expectations.
- Build a more compassionate relationship with yourself.
Your goals might involve work, household tasks, relationships, creative projects, or simply having more energy for the things that matter to you.
What working together looks like
A personalized starting point
Before our first session, you’ll complete an intake so I can learn about your experiences, goals, and current challenges. I use your responses to prepare an individualized starting plan, including relevant education and resources.
Our initial 90-minute session gives us time to explore your needs, establish priorities, and choose manageable next steps.
Support you can return to
Depending on your needs, your coaching may include personalized handouts, mini workbooks, practical tools, and additional resources or referrals. After sessions, you’ll receive a written summary with key takeaways and agreed-upon next steps, so you don’t have to remember everything we discussed.
Room to adjust
Follow-up sessions give us space to review what you tried, understand what helped or got in the way, and adapt the plan. If a strategy doesn’t work, that gives us useful information—not evidence that you failed.
Fees
- Initial session: $300 for 90 minutes, including intake review, personalized preparation, and a written session summary.
- Follow-up sessions: $200 for 60 minutes or $250 for 90 minutes.
- Between-session support: Optional coaching support by text or email is billed in 30-minute increments at an agreed-upon rate. Scheduling and routine logistical questions are not billed.
- Sliding-scale options: A limited number of reduced-fee options are available. Please reach out to discuss your needs.
If a follow-up requires substantial additional preparation or new materials, we’ll discuss any additional fee in advance.
How coaching differs from therapy
Although I am a licensed professional counselor, ADHD coaching is a separate service focused on education, practical support, self-understanding, and working toward your goals. It does not include diagnostic assessment, psychotherapy, or crisis care.
Coaching can complement ongoing therapy or psychiatric care. We’ll discuss whether it’s a good fit for the support you’re seeking.
Let’s find your starting point
You don’t need a perfectly organized list of goals to reach out. If you’re tired of trying harder and want help understanding what would actually support you, we can start there.
